PRODUCTS

Where are CLASP products manufactured?

Most products in our catalog are manufactured in China. However, this is not a requirement for inclusion, and future products may be sourced from other countries.

What suppliers do you work with?

We partner with manufacturers that produce high quality, durable products that are appropriate for urban, semi-urban and rural settings. Current and past suppliers include: ATP Supply, DDO, INTCO, Jarik Medical, KDB, Merits, Momentum Wheels for Humanity, Motivation, Participant Assistive Products, RoughRider America, Sunkiss Healthcare, Sunshine Healthcare, Sunchine Technology, Tianjin Wholesome Co. Ltd., and TopMedi.

Do you work with local suppliers and manufacturers?

We can recommend local suppliers and manufacturers when appropriate. For inquiries—whether you’re a supplier interested in being included in our database or a customer seeking local options—please contact info@clasphub.org.

How are new products added to the CLASP catalogue?

Most new products are assessed by the Product Advisory Council (PAC) which evaluates submissions based on criteria such as manufacturing and quality standards, product specifications, usability, and market potential. Learn more about our product standards.

How can my product be added to the CLASP catalogue?

Invitations to Bid (ITBs) are released periodically when gaps or needs are identified. Details on open ITBs will be posted on our website, Facebook and LinkedIn pages, and via our email list. If there is not an open ITB, suppliers can still submit their products for consideration. To submit your product for consideration, please send a brief product description (e.g. product brochure) to info@clasphub.org and be prepared to provide product specifications, price, minimum order quantities, and production lead time.

WARRANTY

Do you offer a warranty?

We offer a limited warranty on most of our wheelchairs. The warranty is an extension of the manufacturer’s warranty and begins the date the wheelchair is provided to the user, or the date that the wheelchair was received at its final ship-to address. All wheelchairs must be registered to activate warranty coverage. Learn more about our warranty.

How can I register a CLASP wheelchair?

To activate the warranty coverage, the wheelchair must be registered no later than 30 days after the wheelchair is provided to the user. Click here to register your wheelchair

If you are a customer, please ensure that the wheelchair registration form is circulated to all wheelchair service providers that receive CLASP assistive products from you so that they can assist their clients with wheelchair registration.

If you are a wheelchair service provider, please share this link with clients that have access to the internet and would like to register their own products. If a client does not have access to the internet or does not want to register their own product, please register their wheelchair on their behalf at the time of provision.
