UCP Roda Untuk Kemanusiaan (UCPRUK) was established in 2009 as a non-profit organization focused on the fulfillment of the rights of people with disabilities. UCPRUK believes that mobility is a basic human right and envisions an Indonesia where all individuals have access to education, employment, and community activities. Its mission is to develop the capacity of stakeholders and partners, engage in advocacy, and increase access to health and education for people with disabilities.

UCPRUK implements a range of programs to create opportunities for children and adults with disabilities in Indonesia, including adaptive wheelchair service provision and capacity-building for local wheelchair practitioners. UCPRUK also partners with local and national governments, other non-profit organizations, and disabled people’s organizations to implement empowerment and advocacy programs for the disabled community.  By approaching disability services from several angles, UCPRUK works to improve the quality of life and increase opportunities for people with disabilities and their families in a meaningful way.
